This is a small Swedish company working with building conservation. The main expertise of the company is in traditional lime mortar, lime render and lime plaster – in both theory and practice.

The company is run by Kristin Balksten who is Ph D in traditional lime mortar, Civil Engineer, Building Conservator and mason. The doctoral thesis is available on this page as well as the research papers on which the thesis was built on.
Dr Kristin Balksten has held several courses mostly in Sweden but also at Zanzibar and Rhodes. Courses have been held for house owners, craftsmen, architects and engineers.
